Title: Analytical Linguist – Slovene, Python & SQL Debugging Analytical Linguist
Location: Bay Area, CA (Onsite)
Job Overview:
- We are seeking an Analytical Linguist with fluency in Slovene to join our team onsite in the Bay Area. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of technical writing skills, project management capabilities, and basic technical literacy in Python, SQL, and Regex. You will work closely with engineering and product teams to support internationalization efforts, debug linguistic issues, and contribute to documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide linguistic expertise for the Slovene language, ensuring high-quality language support across platforms.
- Support technical documentation efforts and handle bugs and feature requests related to language content.
- Apply Project Management (PjM) skills to create and maintain project trackers and reports.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to debug Python and SQL code (no active coding required).
- Utilize Regex for pattern matching and text processing tasks.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internationalization (i18n) processes (i18n reading skills preferred but not required).
Requirements:
- Native or professional fluency in Slovene.
- Strong technical writing abilities.
- Familiarity with Python and SQL for debugging purposes.
- Solid understanding of Regex.
- Proven project management and organizational skills.
- Prior experience with i18n or localization projects is a plus.
