Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the language project manager, external translation providers, and product manager to ensure the quality of the Arabic copy for the Keeta product, with the goal of continually improving the efficiency and quality of copy delivery.
2. Develop and maintain language assets such as an Arabic terminology database, style guides and translation memories to boost the efficiency of translation tasks internally and externally, and reduce translation costs.
3. Establish a benchmarking system for product copy, and continuously carry out research on key vocabulary.
4. Collaborate with local functional teams to continuously gather user feedback related to app’s language experience.
Requirements:
1. A native speaker of Arabic with extensive experience living and working in Saudi Arabic, and capable of fluent business communication in English;
2. A graduate in language or localization-related fields, with professional language skills;
3. Possess more than 3 years of experience in English-Arabic translation, interpretation or localization;
4. Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, capable of coordinating with various local teams and establishing strong relationships based on mutual trust.
