Job Description:
5 years’ testing experience in linguistic testing, translation, or quality assurance is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Language Testing:
- Test and verify Arabic language error free content in websites, mobile applications.
- Ensure the content meets linguistic, grammatical and language standards.
Localization and Cultural Accuracy:
- Assess translations for cultural relevance and appropriateness in Arabic-speaking regions and suggest improvements to ensure content resonates with the target audience.
- Ensure the content complies with brand guidelines, regional legal standards, and user expectations.
Functional Testing:
- Understand the domain and the functional end user journeys.
- Test the functionality with English and Arabic content, ensuring user journeys are working along with proper display of text, formatting, alignment, and overall usability.
- Identify any functional (for functional flows) and language issues (truncations, font inconsistencies, or broken links etc) and raise proper defects.
- Defect Reporting and Documentation of defects clearly and concisely.
- Coordinate with all stakeholders for resolving the issues effectively.
- Coordinate with UAT team for any defect clarifications.
Experience & Qualification
- 5 years’ testing experience in linguistic testing, translation, or quality assurance is preferred.
- Good understanding of QA methodologies and test cycles.
- UAE National would be good.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools and bug-tracking software Eg : Jira, Bugzilla etc.
- Language Proficiency, native in Arabic (written and spoken) and familiarity with regional dialects.
- Understanding of Telecom domain
