Andovar is seeking skilled Arabic (U.A.E.) freelancers for an exciting remote proofreading project. The role involves listening to audio files in Arabic (U.A.E.), verifying the transcription’s accuracy, correcting any errors, and adding missing atmospheric elements such as sounds, hesitations, and speaker identification.
Job Description:
- Audio Proofreading: Verify that the transcription matches the audio.
- Correcting Mismatches: Edit any discrepancies between the transcription and audio.
- Adding Atmospheric Elements: Include missing sounds (e.g., laughter, background music, phone ringing), filler words (e.g., “um”, “uh”, “er”, “ah”), and speaker identification (e.g., “speaker 1” or “speaker 2”).
Work Volume: Up to 3,000 program minutes (each clip is 5 minutes long).
Offered Pay: Up to 1,530 OMR or 4,000 USD for the total project (0.51 OMR or 1.33 USD per program minute).
Requirements:
- Native proficiency in Arabic (U.A.E.).
- Experience in transcription, proofreading, or a related field is a plus.
- Must have a recent model computer (PC or laptop) with a stable internet connection.
