Position Overview:

This is a full-time remote position for an Assistant Translator at MediTrans. The Assistant Translator will be responsible for translating biomedical market research reports and marketing materials between English and Korean. The role includes supporting the global marketing team, creating and adapting content in both Korean and English and assisting with market research. Additionally, the Assistant Translator will perform proofreading, content localization and contribute to online marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Translate biomedical market research reports, marketing materials, and other content between English and Korean.

2. Localize content to ensure it is culturally relevant and appropriate for both Korean and English-speaking audiences.

3. Proofread and edit translations for accuracy and clarity.

4. Assist the global marketing team by creating and adapting Korean-language marketing materials, including product descriptions, presentations, and digital content.

5. Ensure that all translations meet deadlines and project requirements while maintaining high quality.

Qualifications:

1. Bilingual fluency in Korean and English, possessing excellent written communication skills in both languages.

2. Strong interest in the biomedical, healthcare, or market research sectors.

3. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

4. Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.

5. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

6. Experience with CAT tools (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ) is a plus.

7. Capable of working independently in a remote work environment.
