Summary: The Junior Project Manager is responsible for assisting the Operations team with various day-to-day tasks relating to ongoing projects as well as managing APM projects and assisting the Technical Operations team.
Responsibilities
Management of Endpoint Adjudication Projects:
- Receive, evaluate, and prepare the production documents at project on-set.
- Select, schedule, and manage the translation team from a predetermined list of approved vendors. Independent vendor recruitment is not part of an Associate Project Manager’s role and responsibilities.
- Track the project schedule, coordinate internal and external resources.
- Maintain complete and accurate records of every phase and aspect of projects.
- Monitor and communicate project progress, ensure strict adherence to deadlines and budgets, and ultimately produce high quality deliverables.
- Communicate with project team members and resolve questions as needed.
- Track and control the project cost.
- Deliver complete, defect-free files to the client on time and within budget.
- Juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Quoting Assistance:
- Assist the Quoting team with file organization, file prep, and file analysis
- Assist with entering line items and quote creation
- Establish relationships with Operations, Sales, and Sales Support
- Understand the processes of each project type• Communicate with internal resources to ensure an on-time and accurate quote
- Develop knowledge of localization and globalization practices, as well as general translation services, in an ever-evolving industry.
Requirements
- Experience in the LSP industry is preferred but not required.
