Job Title: Bilingual SAP Project Documentation Specialist and Project Manager

Location: Chile

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic Bilingual SAP Project Documentation Specialist with expertise in Spanish to English translation, technical documentation, and SAP project management. The ideal candidate will have experience in Scrum and Agile methodologies and possess a strong ability to manage and document complex SAP implementation and support projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless communication and documentation for technical and functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Translation & Localization:
  • Translate project documentation, technical specifications, and user manuals from Spanish to English, ensuring clarity and contextual accuracy.
  • Adapt translations to meet the linguistic and cultural needs of global teams and stakeholders.
  1. Technical Documentation for SAP Projects:
  • Create, update, and maintain technical documentation for SAP project lifecycles, including functional and technical specifications, user stories, and sprint backlogs.
  • Work closely with functional and technical teams to document configurations, integrations, and customizations in SAP systems (e.g., ECC, S/4HANA, SuccessFactors).
  1. Project Management Support:
  • Assist project managers in documenting project plans, timelines, and deliverables in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Capture meeting minutes, sprint reviews, and retrospective action points to ensure project alignment.
  • Track and document progress on SAP project milestones and deliverables.
  1. SAP Implementation & Support Documentation:
  • Document end-to-end SAP implementation processes, including system configurations, testing scripts, and user acceptance testing (UAT) results.
  • Develop training materials and quick-reference guides for end-users to enhance system adoption.
  1. Agile Documentation Practices:
  • Support Agile teams by documenting epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Facilitate the standardization of Agile documentation practices across teams.
  1. Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Act as a communication bridge between Spanish-speaking and English-speaking teams, ensuring alignment in project goals and deliverables.
  • Provide linguistic and technical support during Agile ceremonies, workshops, and stakeholder meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Language Skills: Fluent in Spanish and English, with excellent translation and localization abilities.
  • SAP Expertise: Hands-on experience with SAP modules (e.g., ECC, S/4HANA, SuccessFactors) and understanding of their implementation lifecycles.
  • Project Management Knowledge: Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodologies, including documentation practices.
  • Experience: 8+ years in technical documentation, translation, or SAP project support roles.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Project Management, or related fields.

Key Competencies:

  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to communicate technical information effectively.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work in multicultural and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Agile/Scrum certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster).
  • Experience with SAP project management frameworks and tools.
  • Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and documentation automation tools.
