How will you contribute to Skroutz’s vision?
Skroutz is currently expanding abroad, delivering orders throughout Europe. As a Bulgarian Language Manager, you will be part of our International team. You will be the owner of all Bulgarian content across Skroutz. We will work together to communicate our brand and adapt it to Bulgarian culture.
What you will be doing
- Working on the cultural adaptation and maintenance of Bulgarian language content across Skroutz’s platforms, ensuring alignment with local cultural norms and user expectations.
- Translating and optimizing website features (UI, products etc.), articles, guides, CRM flows (emails, push notifications, etc.), ad campaigns, help center, surveys and merchants’ pages to deliver clear, engaging, and SEO-friendly content tailored to Bulgarian audiences.
- Translating of legal content, ensuring legal compliance within the Bulgarian market.
- Reviewing and refining web and app translations in collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain consistency, cultural relevance, and high-quality user experiences.
- Communicating with the call center team to ensure customers are supported with accurate, culturally adapted Bulgarian content that meets their needs.
- Identifying and implementing strategic localization opportunities to enhance engagement with Bulgarian-speaking audiences, bridging gaps through cultural adaptation.
- Developing training materials and style guides providing incoming professionals with tools and best practices for creating culturally resonant, localized content.
Requirements
- Native or Bilingual level of Bulgarian
- Fluent Greek & English speaker
- Localization expertise: proven ability to adapt content to local cultural norms, ensuring relevance and engagement
- Marketing or Copywriting experience and Bulgarian Market Knowledge
- Excellent time management and project management skills
- Self-motivated, self-directed, tactful, problem-solver & strategic thinker
We will appreciate if you have
- Bachelor in Translation or Cultural Studies or Intercultural Communication
