As the company expands, we are looking for motivated and seasoned sales professionals for our office in London to work specifically in the Regulated Industries and/or E-commerce sectors. The role reports directly to the VP of Sales for Europe based in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast growing and industry leading global translation agency.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be a subject specialist in Financial Services and/or E-commerce.
- Work with the VP of Sales and the global Business Development team to implement sales strategies, identify opportunities, close sales, motivate the team and spur growth.
- Generate profitable new business sales via targeted online campaigns, networking and trade shows.
- To attend conferences and networking events to generate leads and promote Toppan Digital Language.
- Educate new prospects on our solutions and communicate the capabilities, benefits, and competitive advantages of working with Toppan Digital Language.
- Evaluate and process RFPs as necessary.
- Manage and control pricing and contractual negotiations with new clients.
- Effectively communicate client and project specifications to the Account Management and Client Solutions team.
- Provide customer support and manage client expectations in conjunction with the Account Management team.
- Analyse successes and market shares and prepare reports to management on competitiveness
- Maintain records of key client/prospect communications and pipeline opportunities in the Toppan Digital Language CRM software, HubSpot.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 5+ years sales experience
- Experience in working with senior management to align sales strategies and solutions
- Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Proven track record of successful customer engagement in Regulated Industries (Finance), the eCommerce and Retail sector
- Knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
- Knowledge of CRM preferred

- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- A team player with a flexible, consultative, and personal approach
- Eager to learn and win new Sales in the Translation industry
- Fluent in English
Desirable
- The ideal candidate will have an established network of professionals and buyers within the Financial Services and/or eCommerce and Retail space
- Demonstrable track record of selling complex solutions or services
- Translation & localisation industry experience
- Other languages would be an advantage
