As a Business Development Manager at Tarjama&, you will drive business growth by focusing on the promotion and adoption of the company’s technology-driven products and services. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying opportunities, building strong relationships with clients and partners, and collaborating across teams to design tailored solutions that meet customer needs and align with our technological vision.
Duties & Responsibilities
Business Development:
- Establish and cultivate long-term relationships with clients and partners to promote business growth in technology-driven language and localization services.
- Leverage a deep understanding of the company’s products and services to prepare and deliver impactful proposals, solution demonstrations, and presentations to prospective clients.
- Proactively explore emerging technologies and market trends to identify opportunities for product and service expansion.
Technology-Focused Solution Design:
- Work closely with clients to understand their technological needs and recommend solutions that leverage our tech platforms and language services.
- Collaborate with the product and technology teams to refine offerings and align with client requirements.
- Serve as a technology advocate, communicating the value of our innovative tools and solutions to clients and partners.
Sales Pipeline and Performance Management:
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and accurate forecasting.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics, providing regular reports and actionable insights to senior management.
- Develop strategies to optimize the sales process and enhance efficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with internal teams, including operations, quality assurance, marketing, and technology experts, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
- Actively contribute to the ideation and development of new technology features and enhancements to meet market demands.
- Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions to keep teams informed about product updates and market trends.
Networking and Industry Engagement:
- Represent the company at technology and industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the brand and establish new connections.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the competitive landscape and industry developments.
- Engage in thought leadership activities, such as participating in panels, webinars, or publishing articles on technology’s role in language services.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain trust with clients by providing consistent, high-quality service and support.
- Address client inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction and long-term engagement.
- Proactively gather client feedback to inform continuous improvement of products and services.
Education, Experience & Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in business management or any related field is preferable.
- Approximately 8 years of proven enterprise sales experience gained in a high-tech, IT Consulting or Services company selling to enterprise and strategic accounts.
- Extensive experience of successfully selling into complex accounts with a strong negotiation and closing track record.
- A good understanding of Language and Translation services and the challenges faced within the specific market sectors.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Excellent in-person and phone-based presentation skills.
- Excellent level of proficiency with MS Office Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
