We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to build and grow our client base in Korea and abroad.
The ideal candidate will be able to identify the needs of both new and current customers, and proactively identify new business opportunities. This will be done by developing excellent relationships and initiate regular communication with clients and internal team members to better understand and mitigate any issues the customers may face.

Former founder / startup experience or interest in tech and AI is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement overall sales and marketing strategy
- Build relationships with existing and prospective clients in Korea, and other APAC regions
- Bring in new sales to the organization and coordinate sales efforts
- Source and close new clients from all industry sectors (government, legal, healthcare, financial services etc.) through proposals, referrals, cold calling and emailing, networking, and other means (tradeshows etc.)
- Respond to RFP’s, quote requests and new customer inquiries in a timely manner
- Track metrics to ensure targets are hit
- Prepare presentations for clients
- Collaborate with team to achieve better results
- Analyze market and establish competitive advantages
- Monitor competition and industry trends
- Conduct translation market research to identify possibilities and evaluate customer needs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (any)
- Excellent English and Korean communication (written and verbal) skills
- 2+ years in B2B sales. Language or AI industry sales experience strongly preferred
- Experience in the full sales cycle, including end to end deal closure
- Strong negotiation and deal closing skills
- CRM experience (Hubspot) is preferred
- Effective time management skills and attention to detail
- Decision-making skills
Remuneration:
Base salary + Commission
