About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Communication Lead to join our Karnataka Programs Team. This role is crucial in effectively communicating program initiatives, engaging with stakeholders, and building strong relationships within the Karnataka region.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation and Management:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy for the Karnataka Programs Team.
- Create engaging content in Kannada, including press releases, articles, social media posts, and newsletters.
- Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely and consistent communication.
- Manage the production of multimedia content, such as videos and infographics.
- Translation and Localization:
- Translate program materials and communications from English to Kannada and vice versa.
- Ensure accurate and culturally appropriate translation of all content.
- Adapt communication materials to suit the specific needs of the target audience.
- Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Track and analyze the impact of communication efforts.
- Collect feedback from stakeholders to improve future communication strategies.
- Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of communication campaigns.
- Event Coordination
- Coordinate and plan organization-hosted events, online or in-person, ensuring seamless execution and a memorable experience for participants.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams/organizations to organize events that align with Mantra4Change’s mission and vision.
Experience & Competencies Required
- Must have 1-2 years of experience in communications, journalism, or a related field.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in Kannada and English.
- Must have strong understanding of the cultural nuances and regional context of Karnataka.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and content management systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Must have passion for social impact and community development.
