We are seeking a Communication Technology Co-op to join our team. This is a full-time 6 month hybrid opportunity based out of our Headquarters in Waltham, MA.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Communication Technology coop to support our internal training initiatives. This individual will report to our Principal Learning Experience Designer. They will also work closely with our Senior Manager of Human Resources and Human Resources Specialist.

As Imprivata extends its global footprint, we are working to expand our core training offerings to encompass additional languages, including Spanish, German, and Ukrainian. The coop will assist with these efforts, for example, by helping manage the work done by our external localization vendor or making minor updates to previously-translated content.

This is a great opportunity for a Communications, Business, Education, Human Resources, or related major to get real, hands-on work experience. The ideal candidate is extremely detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Assist with managing translation efforts
  • Create and maintain a SharePoint site on localization
  • Update previously-translated training modules as appropriate
  • Assist in maintaining courses in our Learning Management System
  • Utilize AI tools for job duties as appropriate
  • Assume additional L&D-related tasks as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Ability to work dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Actively pursuing a degree in Communications, Business, Education, Human Resources or related discipline
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Professional demeanor
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving, investigative research, and critical thinking skills
  • Effective time-management, planning, and organization skills
  • Comfortable using and learning new technologies
  • Experience or interest in technology platforms
  • Self-motivated

This position offers a total compensation range of $22.00 to $24.00 per hour. This range represents the high and low end of Imprivata’s compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate’s location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
