Job Description
Reporting to the US Head of Language Services, you will have an impact on our Language Services Team, within our Creative and Experience Capability.
As a Language Services Manager, you will be responsible for managing, localisation and copy validation language services projects including planning and delivery, working collaboratively with your account management, planning, creative & production team colleagues, and our pool of freelance linguists and writers. You’ll own – and be accountable for – each transcreation project from the point of project setup, driving it through to successful execution, ensuring that we produce the highest quality of localised content, all on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Work on localisation or copy validation projects serving as primary contact between suppliers, our teams and end client with ultimate goal of ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining positive working relationships
- Inter-connected working with your own team members and with colleagues across the teams, assisting with any transcreation tasks, projects and contributing your knowledge of language
- Analyse client information and full campaign briefs, schedules and defining the transcreation / or localization approach
- Accountable for project status, ensuring transcreation quality and service always meet expectations. Quality Assurance of all projects delivered to client
- Identify new strategies and workflows for your account for continued improvement and reporting these to account or LS Lead as applicable
- Attend client and internal meetings to discuss projects briefs / requirements
- Collaborating with team members, client management and production team with a client-centric approach
- Maintain Language Services standards, methodologies and best practices across the agency
- Management of multilingual operation process including multilingual talent management, TMS and Language AI technologies
Qualifications
- BA in Translation, Localization or similar language qualification or experience
- Spanish and English proficiency.
- 3+ years of proven experience in a transcreation project / account management role
- You’ve used Computer Assisted Translation (CAT) tools and project management tools and language industry technologies
- Expertise in language automation workflows, including traditional Machine Translation and AI driven localisation, and post AI editing and validation
- Identify details specific to you from general campaign briefs
- You know how to prioritise tasks.
- You love getting to know your clients, developing long-lasting relationships and adding value to their business
- Be a trusted colleague who inspires confidence in the successful delivery of the project
