About the Company
We’re looking for a Content Strategist II to join our team of content ninjas from all over the world. You will be communication champion for one of our product teams, creating UX microcopy for after-sales, account and discount channels. As the content team, we work closely with product managers, designers and operations specialists throughout the product and promotion development process to create and develop compelling content. The position is based in Hangzhou, China.
About the Role
- As a UX writer, you will explain product features in clear, helpful, and approachable manner that aligns with our content style guide. You will ensure clear messaging that meets business needs and content standards.
- You will get a clear understanding of business and user goals on each step of user journey, plan and conduct usability tests, as well as content AB tests. You will apply your learnings to further improve business key metrics and user satisfaction.
- You work with translators to deliver a localized version of your copy, aligning with product logic and business goals.
- You will team up with designers, product managers, operations, etc., to formulate communication strategy across different channels and markets.
- You will monitor new trends in the UX design and UX writing disciplines (i.e. AI tools) and implement within the team.
Qualifications
- A degree in Human-Computer Interaction, English, Marketing, Localization, International journalism, or other related degree;
- Strong English writing skills;
- Portfolio featuring UX writing samples and user research work you did in the past;
- Experience planning and conducting usability studies, compiling reports;
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups towards a common goal;
- Strong learning capacity, critical thinking, and outstanding adaptability;
- Spoken Mandarin is preferred, some knowledge of Arabic is a bonus.
