You’ll enjoy a varied scope of tasks, work transversally and cross-culturally, giving you a 360º view of TKWW’s operations.

Transform everyday copy and bring our brand voice to life. As a highly motivated and dynamic copy localization specialist for Spain you will thoughtfully create first adaptations of all copies from English for our other copy specialists to translate from Spanish. You will also work closely with the B2B marketing team and other key stakeholders, keeping our team up to date on campaigns, guides and materials, as well as their results. You will bring an entrepreneurial spirit, creative problem solving skills, and a detailed and analytical mindset. You will report to the Copy Localization Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You are responsible for providing high quality adaptations of materials such as marketing campaigns, product texts for websites and apps, copies for creative assets, emails, and YouTube scripts, using sector-specific terminology adapted for Spain. Your adaptation will be used to localize for our other markets (Portugal, France, Italy, Brazil, Mexico, and LATAM).
  • Your copywriting perspective will help deliver engaging copies for our users (primarily wedding businesses and engaged couples).
  • You communicate effectively and consistently with the B2B teams to remain up to date via Slack and email.
  • You analyze campaign results and share key learnings at our weekly meetings.
  • You conduct audits of our sites and communication channels to ensure coherence and propose points of improvement.

SUCCESSFUL COPY LOCALIZATION CANDIDATES MUST HAVE:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working in copy localization and copywriting.
  • High level of English, written and spoken, because you will localize from English (the primary language at TKWW).
  • Native Spanish speaker.
  • Excellent copywriting skills that go beyond translation.
  • Comfortable giving feedback and open-minded when receiving feedback.
  • Comfortable presenting to other teams and aligning with stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a multilingual, cross-cultural environment.
  • Knowledge of ticketing systems (Jira) and translation software (Crowdin) is a plus.
  • Accustomed to organizing a large scope of documentation.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to strategically evaluate copies, catch grammatical and/or spelling mistakes and ensure a cohesive tone that is aligned with our brand.
  • Able to switch between different tasks and priorities and manage time to meet deadlines according to business needs.
  • Good knowledge of Google Drive, Google Docs, and Google Sheets.
