Arabic Copywriter in our office in Amman, Jordan

The Arabic Copywriter is responsible for creating useful, meaningful content that help users complete tasks and rank across the SERPS. Their primary focus will be tocreate original Arabic content and transcreate English content into a high-level of Arabic with technical understanding of the financial industry.

In this role, you will help set the vision for content and drive cohesive product narratives across multiple platforms and touch points – including a keen interest in creative concepts and trends that relate to Arabic-speaking trading enthusiasts.

You will report directly to the Head of Brand and work alongside other Arabic and English digital copywriters, social media experts, designers and content creators.

Responsibilities

  • Create original Arabic creative content across all digital and offline platforms.
  • Translate English content to a high-level of Arabic for use on all digital and offline platforms.
  • Drive vision for the brands customer facing language and content across a product or subject matter domain, and ensure cohesive product narratives.
  • Document your strategies with guidelines, terminology standards, and processes, and establish best practices and strategy principles.
  • Write clear, concise user-interface text for users.
  • Collaborate with designers, researchers, prototypes, product managers, copywriters and other stakeholders to define requirements.
  • Manage projects from needs assessment to implementation; identify opportunities, establish priorities, secure resources, and manage .
  • Maintaining the brand’s tone of voice and accurate information in Arabic across MENA channels

Skills & Competencies

  • High degree of self-motivation and ambition.
  • Proven ability to work independently and competently handle multiple responsibilities, with high degree of accuracy, in a high-pressure environment.
  • Collaborating with each, you strive to establish cohesive language and a unified voice across products and platforms.

  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with clients, officers, and peers professionally.

Experience Requirements

  • 2+ years experience writing Arabic content for the financial industry
  • Experience shaping and managing content strategy for large-scale efforts.
  • Experience working across a multi-national company and transcreating copy from English into Arabic ensuring our marketing messages are read and understood by the correct audiences.
  • Experience with localization and accessibility best practices.
  • Experience in systems thinking through word lists, style guides, content governance standards, information architecture, voice, and tone.
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration skills (including product, tech, legal, and privacy).
  • The breadth of writing samples, including UX writing and longer-form content.
