We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Country Manager to lead our operations and drive business growth in Hong Kong. This is a pivotal role for an ambitious professional looking to shape the future of a fast-growing tech company, working closely with our leadership team to expand our footprint in the localization, AI, and translation industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Strategy:
- Design and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies for Hong Kong and beyond.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across diverse sectors such as legal, government, life science, and financial services.
- Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting to deal closure.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Understand client needs, ensure customer satisfaction, and address challenges proactively.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums.
Market Insights & Competitive Analysis:
- Conduct market research to uncover opportunities and assess customer requirements.
- Monitor competitive activities and industry trends to position Bering Lab effectively.
Operational Leadership:
- Collaborate with global and local teams to align on company goals.
- Prepare compelling presentations, proposals, and responses to RFPs.
- Track sales metrics and ensure targets are consistently achieved.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; advanced degrees are a plus.
- Bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English (written and verbal).
- 5+ years of working experience, preferably in the legal or language services industry.
- Proven track record in full-cycle sales, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) is highly preferred.
- Strong decision-making, time management, and organizational skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for tech and AI. Previous startup experience or founding background is a significant advantage.
