Schneider Electric is looking for a Customer Software Specialist to become member of the Hungarian marketing team in Budapest.

Customer Software Specialist is responsible for localization, deployment, launch, training, marketing activity and support of customer support softwares and applications used in design, build, maintenance and operate phases of the customer journey.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Be Single Point Of Contact (SPOC) for corporate software teams responsible for developing sales support softwares and applications, used for product selection, configuration, quotation, design, documentation, and inspirational purpose.
  • Be SPOC in Hungarian sales&marketing organization for customer support softwares used by electrical designers, panel builder, contractors, end users, facility managers, system integrators, machine builders, electricians, private consumers and other customer groups.
  • Be SPOC and responsible for the adaptation and market launch of a quotation software in more countries of South East Europe region
  • Localize and adapt the customer softwares and applications in sprints & releases framework
  • Test functionalities and run UATs
  • Be marketing ambassador of the softwares and applications, according to the software marketing strategy. Develop or localize trainings and instructions for customer software usage
  • Perform internal/external trainings based on customer software deployment plan
  • Provide level 2 customer support for softwares
  • Monitor & report customer software usage, and prepare action plans to boost number of active users

Ideal candidate

  • Has university degree, preferably in IT, electrical or mechatronic engineer, technical manager or business data analist field, but candidates with all kind of MSC/MA or BSC/BA degrees and IT & marketing interdisciplinary experience are welcome
  • Is native Hungarian and has very strong English skills
  • Has a digital mindset, understands data base management principles and basics of IT project management
  • Is strong in project management
  • Has a proactive attitude
  • Has a marketing attitude or is willing to learn it
  • Is able and willing to work in international environment
  • Understands the basics of electrical installation and power enclosers design, or is willing to learn it quickly
  • Open to test new technologies
  • Open to interact with customers and make presentation in front of big size audience
  • Has proactive, try and fail attitude rather than reactive behaviour
  • Is willing to work hard and effective
  • Is able to overcame difficulties and accept
