What You Will Be Doing:
We are seeking a bright, motivated Director of Business Development (DBD) to continue growing our footprint in the life sciences industry. Your sales approach will be broad including client prospecting, networking, cold outreach and industry events with a goal of building and maintaining client relationships, while identifying, pursuing and closing sales across G3 Life Science’s service offerings.

You will be an entrepreneurial self-starter who is motivated to increase overall revenue and foster an environment where your clients are your partners, and through those partnerships we help improve lives. Our sales professionals are solution explorers, working to identify prospective client solutions while maintaining positive relationships with existing clients—all while having fun and giving back!
- Source and close new clients through referrals, cold calling, networking and other means (trade shows, regional organizations, etc.)
- Build a productive pipeline and manage each phase of the Sales process
- Formulate Sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Be responsible for conceptualizing and developing sales and networking strategies to develop new business.
- Generate daily outreach efforts to prospective process.
- Develop project budgets and create proposals
- Be a consultant to your clients on best practices while managing expectations, including project budgets, MSA, SOW and pricing negotiations
- Work closely with the President of G3 Life Sciences and existing sales force on strategies and execution in growing brand recognition
- Work closely with production teams to ensure that all projects are handled appropriately with keen attention to detail for outstanding quality
- Manage and develop a team of account managers
- In some cases, account management work to support daily client business requests
- Travel (including annual conferences, client meetings) – domestic and/or international
Who We Are Looking For:
Your experience includes:
- An entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to grow with an organization
- At least 3 years of sales experience
- Experience in the translation industry preferred
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent
- Proven track record in hunting new business and supporting an existing client base preferably in the translation or life sciences industry
- Ability to manage and develop a team
- Ability to achieve and exceed targets while working under pressure
