Overview:
As the entry-level role, the Project Coordinator must have excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate projects under pressing deadlines while maintaining high quality standards. Under the supervision of the Director of Production and Project Managers, you will need to provide guidance and motivate linguists, production team members, and other process contributors. You will also be in charge of executing various tasks at different stages of the project life cycle to help the project owners ensure on-time and quality delivery to our client. This job require someone with great relationship-building skills who can clearly communicate with stakeholders at different levels of the organization. Operating Tuesday – Friday 10 am to 7 pm, Saturday from 8 am to 5pm
Description:
- Coordinate simple projects from beginning to end including budget, negotiating with freelance and in house linguists, ensure deadlines are met or exceeded and sign-off on completed project
- Prepare linguistic content for translation
- Establish a schedule of tasks for each project
- Establish schedules and milestones for the projects
- Monitor the product at various stages of process to ensure quality and accuracy
- Complete administrative tasks including PO creation and approval, schedules, status tracking, etc.
- Review job specification to make sure product meets client needs
- Ensure that all deliverables have the highest quality standards
- Ensure client satisfaction through the successful coordination of translation and localization projects to deadlines and within budget
- Contribute to the development of client loyalty and to an increase in the number of accounts managed
- Implement and control QA procedures and processes
- Assist Project Managers in daily tasks as needed
- Monitor daily activities
- Prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Deliver relevant information in a timely manner to internal and external contacts
- Prepare TM Quotes and DTP quotes along with the Localization Engineer
- Participate in team meetings

Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related area of expertise.
- Superior communication skills, fluent in English and French.
- Experience in a fast-paced industry where the work is more of a transactional nature.
- Prior experience with standard translation management tools is considered an asset (Idiom, Trados, Wordfast, SDLX, Catalyst…).
- Knowledge of Acrobat, HTML and XML is considered an asset.
- Experience with document sharing platforms is considered an asset.
