Esperanto Language Verifier Location: Remote Status: Project Based (Contract) Compensation: a fixed fee Benefits: Flexible schedule, work from home ABOUT THE COMPANY Productive Playhouse Inc. Our growth into a full-service data company began in 2011 and has expanded rapidly over the last decade. PPH currently offers our clients a wide range of data services including transcription, translation, linguistic analysis, rating, systems testing, localization, field and studio recording, language skill verification, and sensitive and diversity-focused data handling, with additional services being added continuously. JOB SUMMARY Language verifiers’ duties include creating language verification tests, quality control of existing language verification tests, evaluating language test submissions, and doing quality control on audio and video files. Language verifiers create language verification tests following detailed instructions that will be provided upon employment. The nature of the role is ongoing and project-based. The workload is dependent on project needs. Payment is based on work completed at the rates listed below. Language verification test creation – USD $150, one time fee Language verification test review – USD $15 per review Please note: the number of reviews required is to be determined and is dependent on project needs

RESPONSIBILITIES Carry out assigned tasks, see above Meet assigned deadlines Report progress in a proactive manner to project managers Communicate with project managers in a timely and effective manner Follow guidelines and requirements as dictated by the project manager Communicate in English with project managers via email (verbal communication is not required)

SKILLS Native-level (C2) proficiency inEsperanto Ability to read and write in the required language, see above Familiarity with linguistics, as well as grammar and writing system/s of the required language Knowledge of colloquialisms, grammar and linguistic idiosyncrasies unique to the required language Ability to record yourself speaking clearly, in a quiet environment Responsiveness to email Ability to meet deadlines Computer and internetskills Web search skills Typing A good command of English is preferred

REQUIREMENTS Native-level (C2) proficiency in the required language,including the ability to read and write.
