ABOUT THE ROLE:

TechCurators is seeking a highly skilled Freelance Linguistic Expert to support our team in [specific areas such as content development, translation, linguistic analysis, etc.].

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Freelance Linguistic Expert, you will leverage your extensive experience and expertise in linguistics to provide valuable insights and solutions for our projects. Your exceptional communication skills will play a crucial role in collaborating with our team and delivering high-quality linguistic support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct in-depth linguistic analysis and research to support various projects.
  • Provide expert consultation on language-related issues, syntax, semantics, and phonetics.
  • Assist in the development of language resources, such as style guides, glossaries, and training materials.
  • Collaborate with writers, editors, and other team members to ensure linguistic accuracy and clarity in all content.
  • Review and edit documents for linguistic quality, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
  • Stay updated on linguistic trends and advancements, sharing insights with the team.

ELIGIBILITY:

  • Average doctorate-level (PhD) (with 8+ years of professional experience).
  • Proven track record of providing linguistic expertise in a professional setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with various languages and dialects is a plus.
  • Experience with translation, localization, or content development preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
