Freelance Localization QA Testers (multiple languages)

At ULG we are expanding our team of freelance Localization QA Testers to help support our clients globally. If you are passionate about Localization and Quality and would love to see more global products localized into your language flawlessly, please join us! This is a fully remote position offering a competitive hourly rate based on experience. You can be based anywhere in the world.


If you don’t see your language listed above, but you are an experienced LQA tester, do not hesitate to apply and we will consider your application.

Key Qualifications & Requirements

  • 5 + years experience as a Localization QA Tester
  • Full working proficiency of both written and spoken US English
  • Full fluency in written and spoken in the target language (see above)
  • Tech savvy with experience working with defect reporting tools and ability to quickly learn new tools
  • Experience working with test scripts
  • Willingness to adhere to project specific instructions, style guides, glossaries, etc.
  • Strong written communication skills and ability to clearly document issues and other critical information
  • Meticulous attention to details
  • Responsiveness and ability to work in deadline-oriented environment
  • eLearning projects experience preferred
  • Understanding and appreciation of cultural nuances
  • Passion for improving quality


  • Be a subject matter expert for linguistic issues in the target language
  • Understand and follow project specific instructions, style guides, glossaries, etc.
  • Assess quality of the target language translation within the context of testing environment
  • Document and report audio, linguistic, functional, and cosmetic issues using a defect tracking tool
