The Role
The Transcreation Project Executive (TPE) oversees managing localization projects for the client’s Marketing Communications (Marcom) team. The TPE collaborates closely with clients, the Marcom Project Manager, and a network of creative talents from various Southeast Asian (SEA) markets. This individual must collaborate with other cross-functional teams and project managers to ensure that work is completed on schedule and with high quality. Constant communication and negotiation of priorities and deadlines with internal and external teams is essential to ensure expectations are effectively handled. Primary responsibilities include organizing and arranging schedules, distributing workloads, and tracking project progress.
You will support the management of localisation projects and ensuring effective communication across functions. When managing stakeholders, strong organizational and time management skills are required, as well as a focus on quality.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Account Management
- Support the Transcreation Manager by allocating and monitoring projects to a network of linguists across markets and time zones.
- Manage projects using both a CAT tool and the client’s Project Management Tool.
- Coordination and ensuring that all stakeholders and linguists adhere to the agreed-upon workflows, which include defining scope, timelines, and resource management.
- Work alongside and support cross functional project manager as well as client when briefing and tracking projects through to completion.
- Ensure that trackers are updated at all times
- Monitor timelines and manage client expectations
- Monitor internal workflows and identify areas for improvement
- Advise line manager on resource gaps and flag potential issues
- Ensure account delivers consistently against all including SLAs and KPIs
- Identify bottle necks/pain points for the validation network
- Identify training requirements for team members to ensure their adherence to processes and workflow
Linguist Network Support
- Ensure timely, high-quality work delivery by planning collaborative efforts, creating a balanced work plan, and organizing teamwork.
- Monitor and check linguists’ availability via a tracker and flag any potential gaps.
- Identify and communicate any potential team issues or talent-related feedback to the line manager, and then take an active part in resolving them.
- Provide support to the linguist by providing guidance on all processes and guidelines. Assist with basic troubleshooting as well.
- Checking, approving and actualizing timesheets.
Client Management
- Set and manage client expectations for deliverables and timeframes
- Understand and work under the confidentiality policy
- Attend regular project status meetings and provide written updates as needed.
Requirements
- Available on freelance basis
- Firsthand experience of project management, traffic, or client servicing expertise is required, with experience in the marketing ad-agency or localisation business a plus.
- Passionate about languages and working with linguists and creative writers.
- Experience working with global brands, ideally across all media platforms such as print, interactive, and film.
- Ability to perform tasks successfully and collaboratively in high-pressure settings.
- Capability to think strategically and align projects with business objectives.
- Good capacity to solve problems and make decisions.
- Proficient in both written and spoken communication. the capacity to effectively communicate both internally and externally with stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-motivated, organized, and with a keen eye for detail. A hands-on, can-do attitude toward problem solving
- Proficient with technology and tools.
- Commitment to ethical standards and professional conduct.
- Willingness to attend confidential projects at the client’s offices several times a year.
