We are looking for talented and qualified English (US) into Spanish (US) Post-Editors with experience in the medical setting.
Task: Review and adjust machine translated text from English US into Spanish US by improving accuracy, quality and fluency. The goal is to ensure that the post-edited versions read as if it were originally written by a native speaker.
Requirements:
- A degree in translation, linguistics or language studies or an equivalent degree thatincludes significant translation training, from a recognized institution of higher education; or
- a degree in any other field from a recognized institution of higher education and hasthe equivalent of two years of full-time professional experience in translating; or
- the equivalent of five years of full-time professional experience in translating
Other requirements:
- Bilingual Spanish (US) and English (US)
- Localization Experience – Possess cultural knowledge of the source language and the target language
- Min 3 years Post -editing Machine Translation or Localization Experience
- Knowledge of MT and LLM technologies
- Proven Experience in the healthcare industry
- CAT experience
Skills:
- Advanced degree in translation or a related field
- Experience in evaluating Post-edited material: Post-editing Quality: fluency, naturalness, accuracy, and coherence RAW MT output evaluation: Post-editing length and time, Error type identification and similar
- Additional language proficiency in other languages
