Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled French language expert (IMMEDIATE JOINER ONLY) with a strong proficiency in both spoken and written French. This role is crucial for translating content from English to French and for coordinating the localization of training programs offered by our company to Microsoft partners and customers, specifically catering to our French clientele. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in translation and content localization within the IT industry and must be a French speaker, fluent in French, with a deep understanding of French business culture and practices.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Translation: Translate training videos, PowerPoint presentations, and documents from English to French with precision, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural alignment.
- Liaison: Effectively communicate with French clients and vendors, ensuring clear understanding of their translation needs and preferences.
- Localization: Adapt training materials to align with French business practices, ensuring relevance and cultural sensitivity.
- Content Creation: Create French language captions for training videos and other multimedia content.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards for all translated content, ensuring adherence to French language conventions.
Candidate Profile:
- Translation Expertise: Proven experience in translation and localization, with a focus on translating from English to French.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in French (spoken and written) is essential.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills in both English and French, capable of articulating complex concepts effectively.
