Job Purpose

RWS Lebanon is currently looking for 1 full-time in-house translator to add to its internal team for IT & Digital Marketing EN>AR projects.

Together with your team members you will get the chance to manage your own projects and be responsible for delivering translations of the highest quality on time and within budget.

Job Type: Permanent contract, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Job Overview

The Lebanon Language Delivery team is based in Lebanon and takes care of all RWS projects towards Arabic from several source Languages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides quality and accurate translations that contribute to the overall success of the project and client satisfaction.
  • Works on translations and admin projects of different complexity, requiring proficiency in translation processes.
  • Demonstrates a strong focus on quality and client satisfaction by effectively understanding and applying quality standards.
  • Communicates in a timely manner with stakeholders with an excellent command of English and Arabic.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years proven translation and editing experience translating EN>AR IT & Digital Marketing content.
  • Language skills: Native level of Arabic and Excellent command of English.
  • Degree in Translation.
  • CAT & Office tools experience, preferably Trados Studio
  • Based in a hybrid role. 2 days per week at the office in Kaslik, 3 days per week remotely.

  • Strong interest in translation technologies and CAT tools. Knowledge of Trados is a plus.
