The role of IT Support Technician will be a key resource working closely within our Engineering team and will provide support in areas of hardware, software and virtual networking.

A key goal for this role will be to assist the CTO with ISO 27001 implementation.

The role will also involve Office 365 support, AzureAD administration, general IT support queries and working across the business with other ad-hoc IT requirements to end users based in multiple locations worldwide.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • ISO 27001 implementation and adherence
  • To assist/support with IT day-to-day operations
  • Provide technical support to end-users via Teams and email
  • Provide IT solutions to wider team in non-technical and comprehensible terms
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops and other peripheral devices
  • Support IT and business projects such as SharePoint Document Management System administration and endpoint security configuration 
  • Assist with IT projects as needed
  • To assist in troubleshooting of hardware, software and network issues
  • To manage service enquiries using the ticketing system
  • Update and maintain asset inventory
  • Ensure Security best practices are applied
  • Help to develop new IT policies and procedures as required

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge of IS0 27001 implementation and adherence is a must requirement
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in IT
  • IT Installation work in the past
  • Ability to learn quickly and take ownership of tasks
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills – ability to translate complicated technological terminology into language easily understood by others
