As a Java Developer, you’ll work on mission-critical applications as part of a talented team. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, delivering, and maintaining high-performance components and services. This role offers a unique chance to shape product functionality while tackling exciting and meaningful challenges.
Core Skills You’ll Need:
- Development Expertise: At least one year of professional experience in hands-on Java software development.
- Java Mastery: Solid grasp of Java Core concepts, including object-oriented and concurrent programming principles.
- Dev Tools Savvy: Proficiency with modern development tools and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Build Tools: Familiarity with build tools such as Maven and Gradle.
- Problem Solver: Strong debugging skills with a proactive approach to tackling challenges.
- Collaborator: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster effective collaboration.
- Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline—or equivalent practical experience.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English and Serbian.
Bonus Points for:
- Performance optimization: Hands-on experience optimizing application performance.
- Framework Familiarity: Experience with Spring Boot Framework and RESTful API.
- HTTP Client & Authentication Mechanisms: Familiarity with HTTP clients for making API requests and understanding various authentication mechanisms such as Basic Auth, OAuth, and API Keys.
- CI/CD Knowledge: Understanding of Continuous Integration/Deployment pipelines.
- Databases: Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
