Role Description
The Junior UI/UX Designer will support the Lead UI/UX Designer in developing intuitive, user-centric digital experiences for the digital banking platform. A key responsibility will be creating Arabic versions of all user interface designs and ensuring cultural and linguistic relevance across all digital assets. The role also includes assisting in user research, wireframing, and prototyping, contributing to the continuous improvement of the platform’s design.
Job Accountabilities
- Support the Lead UI/UX Designer in creating user-friendly designs across digital banking channels
- Translate and localize English-language designs into Arabic
- Assist in creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and final designs
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure design implementation
- Conduct or support user research and usability testing
- Maintain design documentation and asset libraries in Arabic and English
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
Experience
- 1–2 years in UI/UX design, ideally with exposure to fintech or mobile-first digital platforms
Job Specific Skills
- Fluent Arabic and English (written and spoken) – Mandatory
- Basic knowledge of UX principles. Ability to design responsive interfaces. Understanding of localization and cultural adaptation
Preferred Certification/ Training
- UX/UI certifications from recognized platforms (Google, Coursera, Nielsen Norman, etc.)
