Job Description

We are excited to be on the hunt for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Korean-speaking Localization Manager

In this role, you will focused on the exhilarating world of online poker. As a crucial member of our localization team, you will spearhead the adaptation of our iGaming platform to cater to the Korean market, ensuring seamless user experiences and cultural relevance.

Responsibilities

  • Localization Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive localization strategy tailored to the Korean market, encompassing linguistic, cultural, and regulatory considerations.
  • Content Localization: Oversee the translation and adaptation of all content related to online poker, including game interfaces, instructions, promotions, and marketing materials, maintaining linguistic accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough linguistic and functional testing of localized content to guarantee consistency, coherence, and functionality across all platforms and devices.
  • Gaming Expertise: Leverage your deep understanding of online poker to provide insights and recommendations for enhancing the gaming experience for Korean players, ensuring alignment with industry trends and player preferences.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments within the Korean iGaming landscape, providing regular updates and recommendations to optimize our market positioning and strategy.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product development, marketing, customer support, and legal/compliance to ensure seamless integration of localized content and alignment with overarching business objectives.

Requirements

  • Language Proficiency: Native-level fluency in Korean with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in English is also required for effective collaboration with international teams.
  • iGaming Experience: Proven track record in the iGaming industry, with a focus on online poker. Familiarity with poker terminology, gameplay mechanics, and player preferences is essential.
  • Localization Expertise: Demonstrated experience in localization management, including translation, cultural adaptation, and quality assurance processes. Knowledge of localization tools and best practices is highly desirable.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize localization efforts and enhance player engagement.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Deep understanding of Korean culture, customs, and consumer behavior, enabling effective localization strategies that resonate with Korean players and drive business success.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. Proven experience working effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
