Position Title: Korean Translator

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Korean Translator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating content related to Google and Social Media Campaign Management from English to Korean and vice versa. This role requires a deep understanding of Korean linguistics, as well as proficiency in digital marketing strategies and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate written content, including ad copies, social media posts, and campaign materials, from English to Korean and ensure accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and analytics teams to ensure alignment of translated content with campaign objectives and target audience.
  • Conduct linguistic reviews and proofreading to maintain quality and consistency across all translated materials.
  • Contribute in the localization of website content, product descriptions, and other digital assets to cater to the Korean market along with Deloitte in-house team.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in digital marketing, particularly in Google and prominent social media platforms.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing campaign performance based on linguistic analysis and market research.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams in Deloitte, including content creators, designers, and analysts, to execute successful campaigns in the Korean market.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, plus diploma and working experience in Marketing/Data Science/Analytics/Economics/or a related field. BE/Btech & Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a translator or linguist, with a focus on Korean language and culture.
  • Strong proficiency in English and Korean, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, including SEO, SEM, PPC, and social media advertising.
  • Knowledge of analytics tools and data-driven decision-making processes is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality translations within deadlines.
  • Previous experience in the technology or consumer electronics industry is a plus.
