Want to help create dubbed content for some of the biggest online creators? We are on a mission to make videos watchable in any language.

We are looking for independent-thinking candidates, with meticulous attention to detail in audiovisual translation from English to Portuguese (European) pair.

As a Language Coordinator with CreatorGlobal, you’ll be an integral part of our creative team, driving the localization process of English videos into your native language.

About The Job

As the Language Coordinator, you will lead the localization of English creative assets, such as videos, titles, and descriptions. You will produce subtitles from transcripts into your language and play a crucial role in our team’s success. In addition, you will act as a “brand ambassador” for our global audience, ensuring that our content is accessible to everyone in your shared native language.

Your work will also involve researching and identifying opportunities, understanding our target market, and suggesting potential partnerships to localize your region.

Responsibilities

  • Create and edit subtitles in Portuguese (European), ensuring cultural accuracy and linguistic appropriateness.
  • Sync subtitles with audio and visuals, maintaining correct timing and flow.
  • Proofread and sync subtitles for grammatical errors, consistency, and readability.
  • Adapt content for your region, considering language nuances and legal restrictions.
  • Localize content metadata for regional audiences.
  • Meet tight deadlines while managing multiple projects.
  • Communicate directly with our Studios (but not limited to) any/all directions from Core Management, and any/all recommendations on revisions needed.
  • Document all processes and maintain all localization-related documentation and tools, including internal databases and our team base.

Requirements

  • C1+ English
  • C1+ Portuguese (European)
  • 1-3 years of translation and/or adaptation for dubbing
  • A scrappy self-starter with an owner mindset
  • Organized and structured, but able to quickly adapt to changes in plans and priorities
  • Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • An empathetic and proactive team leader

  • Understand YouTube and content creation.

Location: Remote – Preferably Candidate is Located in Portugal
