We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Languge Project Coordinator with experience in project management and a passion for languages. This role is ideal for individuals who have worked in the language or translation services sector, possess exceptional administrative skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management:

  • Coordinate and oversee multiple language-related projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation.
  • Liaise with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Identify and address potential project risks or issues promptly.

Administrative Support:

  • Manage project-related correspondence, documentation, and records.
  • Track project expenses and prepare periodic status reports.
  • Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes.
  • Assist in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for project workflows.

Language Expertise:

  • Support translation and localization projects with knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
  • Review and verify the accuracy of translated materials when required.
  • Collaborate with linguists and translation teams to ensure high-quality outputs.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders on project updates.
  • Facilitate clear communication across multilingual teams and departments.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to team members to enhance performance.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the language or translation services industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello), and other relevant software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred:

  • Fluency in two or more languages.
  • Hands-on experience with translation tools such as CAT tools, TMS platforms, or similar.
  • Familiarity with cultural and linguistic nuances across different regions.
