Language Quality Assurance Team Leader

Location: Warsaw (employment contract or B2B), France (employment contract) or remote (B2B contract).

Working hours: Start between 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM CET.

As the Language Quality Assurance (a.k.a LQA) Team Leader, you will lead a team of talented translators, and play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance to enhance the overall customer experience.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and inspire a team of translators, fostering a collaborative and positive team culture, encouraging open communication and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.
  • Effectively allocate resources, balancing workloads, and prioritizing projects.
  • Identify opportunities for workflow optimization and implement tools and technologies to enhance efficiency.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in translation technology to enhance team capabilities.
  • Maintain the automatic localization system.
  • Support the Customer Care team in dealing with client requests.
  • Oversee the translation of marketing materials, customer communications, and platform designs, collaborating with product and marketing teams and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and marketing strategies.

LQA Team Leader at Webinterpret must have:

  • Full English proficiency
  • Linguistic studies background
  • Experience in the translation field
  • Computer & data analysis skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills

 

Nice to have:

  • Min. C1 level in either German, Spanish, Italian, or French
  • E-commerce experience
  • Experience with MySQL and Mongo
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, with a development team using scrum methodology
