What You’ll Do:

As a Language Services Project Coordinator, you’ll be the driving force behind the successful execution of multilingual projects. You’ll manage multiple translation projects, coordinate resources, and ensure client expectations are met or exceeded. You’ll play a key role in facilitating communication between clients, linguists, and production teams, ensuring that every project is delivered on time, within scope, and at the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end language services projects, from scoping to delivery, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements and tailor solutions.
  • Coordinate with translators, desktop publishers (DTP), and editors to ensure accuracy, plain language adherence, and project efficiency.
  • Utilize Trados and other industry-leading tools to manage translations and maintain quality control.
  • Apply desktop publishing (DTP) skills to ensure professional and visually appealing deliverables.
  • Implement plain language principles to make content accessible, especially for Spanish-speaking audiences.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members, providing regular updates and addressing any challenges.
  • Attend in-person meetings in Charlotte, NC about once a month to foster strong collaboration.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bilingual in English and another language (verbal and written).
  • Strong experience with Trados and other translation management tools.
  • Expertise in desktop publishing (DTP) to ensure high-quality document formatting.
  • Proven ability to simplify complex concepts into plain language for diverse audiences.
  • Exceptional communication skills—you’ll be the bridge between clients and internal teams.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and coordinating resources in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and driven to deliver top-tier results.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a remote team.
  • Live within a 100-mile radius of Charlotte, NC, to attend in-person meetings about once a month.
