Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Line Producer at EarCandy in Johannesburg. We’re looking for an experienced candidate who has worked in dubbing, film/tv production or similar, and is driven by a need to plan, organize, delegate, manage and problem solve at a senior management level in a small to medium size business. While a love of the creative process is a must, you’re fulfilled by knowing that the production is running on budget, on time and all stakeholders know what is expected of them and are delivering accordingly. You’re an exceptional communicator with a demonstrated history of 7-10 years of hands-on experience with establishing and managing budgets and schedules in a multi-project environment. You also have experience directly leading medium size production teams and know how to get the best out of your teammates at all times. This is not a role where you’re outsourcing and managing remotely. Our perfect candidate will be directly and actively involved in the day to day operations and will report directly into the business owners.
We’re a busy facility with more than 20 studios and localize in over 30 languages from across sub-Saharan Africa for the globes most important media owners, studios and content platforms. If you’re a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced, often stressful environment, this could be role for you.
Qualifications
- Line Production and TV Production skills
- Experience in Pre-production, Budgeting and Scheduling
- Production Management expertise
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of dubbing and audio post-production processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, or related field
