Position: Linguist UX/UI Tester
Availability: Looking for Immediate Joiners
Location: Hyderabad (Onsite)
Hiring Linguist UX/UI Testers who are more aligned towards Linguistics and Translation backgrounds. The normal test engineer will not fit for this role, as the JD is more inclined towards language and linguistic quality parameters.
Preferred Languages: URDU, MARATHI, GUJARATI, ODIA & BENGALI
Candidate must be proficient in Reading, Writing and Speaking the language.
(Linguists are preferred with UX/UI and UAT Testing experience in the language (Localization))
JD for UX/UI Test Engineer:
- Experience in UX/UI and UAT Testing on the different platforms and testing environments (including Production), as required by each Project.
- Candidates Preffered from Linguistic/Translation Background and experience in localization.
- Review copy and identify issues with tone and voice, facts or grammar, formatting, punctuation, spelling, and messaging.
- Rate and provide clear in-writing feedback for each deliverable reviewed.
- Review and sign off high-visibility deliverables prior to publishing.
- Provide quality localization for last-minute or confidential requests.
- Provide feedback and informed suggestions about terminology or brands.
- Review language-specific guidelines and provide market/cultural insight.
- Review copy in context, such as within an email, placed on art or within a webpage, for example
- Report and file bugs
- Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new tools or features being rolled out.
- Review incoming tryouts for represented language.
- Assist with the training of new testers joining the language team.
