Linguistic Services Manager- senior

We are looking for a senior Linguistic Services Manager for a team that is fully dedicated to one of our biggest clients – a global social media platform. This team offers an interesting mixture of more standard linguistic quality tasks and AI related assignments, as data annotation is a big part of what we do here.

 

You will work together with your colleagues and the production team in Brno and around the world to apply, define and implement new as well as existing language quality management processes in order to ensure our deliverables are in line with the client’s expectations.

 

In a nutshell, we are looking for an experienced professional skilled in the field of linguistic quality who is, ideally, also interested in exploring the world of AI.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Provide linguistic services to the production team, the partners and the customer.
  • With the help of your direct manager, manage continuous and proactive development, design and implementation of quality management methodologies, special linguistic services (quality reporting and monitoring, vendor training, language asset development & maintenance, in the area of program language quality).
  • Deliver assigned linguistic services tasks (e.g. enforcement of linguistic guidelines, proactively manage quality across assigned languages).
  • Take part in data annotation task.
  • Provide trainings to translators and assorted linguistic stakeholders, etc.

 

Skills & Experience

 

  • Linguistic education or equivalent working experience is a must
  • Min. 2 years working experience in a quality team
  • Perfect command of spoken and written English
  • Very good skills with Microsoft Office software, especially MS Excel
  • Very good coordinating and communication skills (providing training, communication with customers)
  • You must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment, have a flexible attitude to work and have good problem resolution skills
