Job Summary

Localisation efforts at Klaviyo are centred around linguistic excellence, teamwork and scale. We are responsible for the translation and cultural adaptation of all customer-facing content from performance-based marketing collateral to original training programs, the Klaviyo application and website, and our partner and developer portals. Our work is not just about translation and localization; it is about providing our users with an experience that feels locally relevant and fuels international growth for both our customers and Klaviyo. As a Localisation Program Manager at Klaviyo, your primary responsibilities will be to:

  • Delight our international customers by owning and driving high quality, localised customer experiences for all international markets and languages across Marketing, Academy and other parts of the customer journey.
  • Drive localisation scale by developing and managing a roadmap of localisation tools and technologies that leverage AI to continuously improve localisation.

We are looking for an experienced hands-on Localisation Program Manager to join the team and help build out a scalable, cost-effective and impactful Localisation function.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute and manage localisation solutions for Marketing, Academy and other Klaviyo teams, partnering closely with those teams to fully understand business goals, priorities and opportunities.
  • Drive adoption of AI in the localisation process, as well as optimising machine translation engines, translation memories and existing processes and technologies.
  • Collaborate with the whole Localisation team, stakeholders and other teams to deliver a high quality localised experience for international customers, drive scale in localisation and resolve issues and blockers.
  • Be a champion internally for the international Klaviyo customer.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • 5+ years of experience overall, 3+ years of experience in a comparable localisation role on the buyer/client side
  • Extensive experience of TMS systems, translation memories, localisation tools and processes
  • Demonstrated experience of designing and implementing localisation solutions at scale
  • Experience leading content localisation across multiple languages
  • Ability to partner effectively with internal teams and influence roadmaps
  • Ability to hold self and teams accountable to a high quality standard
  • Ability to create and deliver a localization roadmap of tools and processes
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal in English
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and make trade-offs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Authorisation to work in the UK without restriction.

The pay range for this role is listed below. Sales roles are also eligible for variable compensation. This role is also eligible for competitive benefits and perquisites, subject to company policy and applicable law

Base Pay Range In Local Currency

£64,000—£96,000 GBP
