In particular, that includes creating an equitable, inclusive and growth-focused environment for our people.About this teamOur Localization team supports international business needs by translating, copywriting or transcreating various external and internal communications and resourcesA day in the life:
- Produce intentional, impactful Korean content to meet global campaign objectives in local market
- Manage translation workflow for product education, including oversight of seasonal library
- Play key part of the proofreading phase of all major translation processes, including digital platforms and memory maintenance to support product education translations
- Proactively pursue excellence in translation quality and consistency across all platforms in your language
- Transcreate content and support business needs such as media releases, internal global-to-local communication, training materials, digital advertisements and et cetera
- Create language guides and maintain terminology databases
- Coordinate language feedback from users, including reporting on guest and lululemon employee engagement
- Maintain close cooperation with regional stakeholders, including localization specialists, local storytellers, creative partners, market mavens, etc.
- Managing a group of freelance translators, including answering any linguistic/stylistic questions and providing timely feedback
- Lead quality control through routine quality check with translation freelancers and vendors
- Understand the needs of our international users
Qualifications:
- Native-level knowledge of English and the Korean language in both oral and written
- Extensive knowledge of language and culture differences and nuances
- At least 3-5 years of hands-on translation and creative copywriting
- Time management and organizational skills and multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of industry trends and technologies
- Passion for languages and translation
- Experience with translating, transcreating, and copywriting for guest-facing facing content and internal training materials
- Working knowledge of localized market trends
- Basic knowledge of HTML, TXML or TM technologies is an asset
