We are seeking a Localization Manager to join our growing team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products and content resonate with users across the globe.
You’ll be working closely with engineering, product, and distribution teams ensure that our products are equally accessible throughout the world, and maintain the same brand image on all markets.
As a localization manager, your day-to-day will include:
Building Strategy
You’ll create and implement a localization strategy that aligns with the company’s global expansion goals and maintains brand consistency.
Quality Assurance
You’ll maintain an uncompromising focus on quality, ensuring that all localized content meets the highest standards of linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and technical functionality. In order to assure consistency over time, you’ll also develop and maintain a glossary and style guide to ensure consistency in terminology and brand voice across all localized content.
Integration & Optimization
You’ll work closely with engineering, product, and distribution teams to integrate localization tools and processes into the development workflow, ensuring efficient and scalable localization practices. Which means, you’ll also track and measure the impact of localization efforts, iterating on strategies to optimize for user engagement and satisfaction.
Vendor Management
You’ll select and manage relationships with external localization vendors, ensuring they adhere to quality standards, timelines, and budget constraints.
Your Skills & Experience
- Proven track record in building a localization processes and owning localization management, preferably in a startup environment.
- Strong technical background, preferably as an engineer, or ability to work closely with engineering teams.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Deep understanding of brand identity and the ability to maintain consistency across cultures.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
- Experience with localization tools and platforms is a plus!
