Description: As part of the AMP International Editorial team, the Localization Producer will coordinate localization projects with vendors, localization team staff, as well as marketing, legal, and other departments across various teams.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Project management from concept to go-live.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with marketing teams, video services, external vendors, localization team staff, design, and other teams to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards under pressure.
  • Oversee end-to-end localization workflows in a creative environment, managing localization projects and requirements across internal and external teams, including scoping, planning, and task tracking.
  • Manage international copy and assets for store, marketing, and social campaigns.
  • Represent the team in marketing meetings, contribute to project kick-offs, and engage with cross-functional teams for planning and presentations.
  • Identify and communicate innovative solutions to streamline workflows and processes.
  • Work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, managing aggressive deadlines.

Key Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of prior localization project management experience, particularly with language launches, internet, marketing, and/or media localization projects.
  • Proven experience as a localization project manager with strong attention to detail in a demanding and dynamic environment.
  • Previous experience leading localization projects across multiple cross-functional teams, including international teams.
  • Knowledge of online marketing, international marketing copy, and the global marketplace.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize urgent issues, and manage large volumes of copy and assets in up to 40 languages simultaneously.
  • Proactive planner with excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for improving existing infrastructure, tools, and technologies.
  • High cultural sensitivity and experience working with teams globally.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard localization tools.
  • Linguistic expertise in at least one language is preferred.
  • Comfort and competence working on the Mac platform, using iOS, and familiarity with media products and UI terminology is a plus.

Education: Degree in Localization, International Studies, Journalism, Media Studies, or related fields.
