Overview

The Localization Producer shall supervise the localization process for their assigned project(s) to ensure quality of translation, timing and testing necessary to bring AAA products to market. The Localization Producer will work with the Senior Localization Producer and Global Localization Director to oversee day-to-day aspects of full product localization, as well as marketing, PR and corporate materials.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, organizing and monitoring large localization projects independently, ensuring consistency with timelines, quality and budgeted expenses
  • Communicating with studios to internationalize projects making sure the localization process runs smoothly
  • Localization asset preparation, coordination and management between divisions/departments and external vendors
  • Communicating between localization contact(s) within localization team, territories, and localization vendors
  • Ensuring smooth running of projects, and swift identification and resolution of issues
  • Ensuring a consistent result across all assets for each game
  • Such other duties as may be set forth by the Company

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of software internationalization and localization principles
  • Substantive years’ experience in translation, localization or games production
  • Prior experience in project management or production within the entertainment or communication industries
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highly proficient at MS Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to produce high-quality results under tight deadlines
  • Ability to analyse, prioritize and resolve problems
  • Ability to work on several tasks at once with frequent interruptions while meeting sensitive deadlines
  • Understanding of foreign cultures and awareness of cross-cultural differences

Preferred Skills

  • Bi-lingual in English and either Korean, Arabic, and/or Thai is preferred.
