We are building our Localization Programs &

Strategy group within the Global Operations team and are seeking Localization Producers who are eager to contribute to this exciting endeavor which allows us to speak to customers around the globe! Our Localization Producer will report to a Localization Production lead and closely collaborate with cross functional peers across International Marketing, Global Marketing and Amazon Studios Production and Mastering.

They will track assigned series or movies marketing campaign delivery progress while overseeing the processing of required assets from third-party production facilities utilizing Amazon’s contracted vendors for localization, mastering, and delivery to Prime Video – ensuring critical global release timetables are met. They will be responsible for updating and maintaining various schedules, keeping vendors and regional POCs up-to-date as creative materials are finalized, tracking localization progress, pursuing outstanding materials, organizing assets for final delivery to content publishing, troubleshooting any upstream or downstream rejections, and assessing and acting on customer feedback.

The role will liaise between current production and third-party localization vendors on work related to the translation/adaptation, graphics localization and versioning of Amazon Originals marketing campaigns for global release – while helping to streamline and achieve alignment across a variety of global vendors as well as internal teams (including Creative, Post, and Production). This position will also work with the Localization Billing team to track and monitor expenditures for all localization related work. The ideal candidate should be willing and able to handle a heavily administrative day-to-day while also collaborating and contributing to process planning and rollouts for future growth potential and efficiency.

Key job responsibilities

  • Liaise between Studios production, marketing and third-party localization vendors on work related to the translation/adaptation, casting, recording, graphics localization and versioning of Amazon Studios/Prime Video Originals marketing campaigns for global launch – while streamlining operations and achieving alignment across a variety of global vendor and internal teams.
  • Track series or movies campaign delivery progress while overseeing the processing of all required assets from third-party facilities through Amazon’s contracted vendors for end-to-end ownership of localization and delivery to Prime Video (PV).
  • Oversee project delivery calendars, keeping vendors and regional POCs up-to-date as escalations or significant rejections occur, high profile content is finalized, troubleshooting any upstream or downstream rejections, and assessing and acting on customer feedback.
  • Willing and able to handle a heavily administrative day-to-day while also collaborating and contributing to process planning and rollouts for future growth potential and efficiency.
  • Work with the localization billing team to track and monitor expenditures for all localization related work including identifying opportunities for cost savings and improvement on current practices.
  • Apply in depth knowledge of current industry standards and formats, best practices in post production and cultural sensitivities within a global ecosystem. Be an advocate for localization while innovating for a global audience.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of creative services experience
  • 3+ years of entertainment, brand or production entity experience
  • Experience and understanding of the workflow within a marketing, production, or creative department or company
  • Experience working at or with a creative or advertising agency, network, streaming service or studio
  • Experience working with stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on or with large-scale, global creative campaigns
  • Experience with asset management, design workflows, or partnering with creative teams

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
