Role Description

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of subtitling projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to define project requirements and establish project workflows.

Client Communication and Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding subtitling projects, managing client expectations, and addressing project-related inquiries and concerns.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Manage project budgets, track costs, and ensure cost-effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Allocate resources, including personnel, tools, and technology, to optimize project efficiency and meet project requirements within budget constraints.

Risk Management and Issue Resolution:

  • Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery and develop proactive mitigation strategies to address them.
  • Monitor project progress, identify deviations from the project plan, and take corrective actions as necessary to ensure project success.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Generate regular progress reports, project status updates, and other project documentation to communicate project status, milestones, and key metrics to stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate project records, documentation, and archives for future reference and auditing purposes.

Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 1 year of work experience in the media localization industry
  • Korean native speaker with professional to native proficiency in English
  • Able to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking, and time-management
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with TV distribution and subtitling (templates, SDH/CC, Forced Narratives)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, G-suites, and Apple computers
  • Highly analytical and meticulous
  • Able to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
