As a Localization Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing localization projects of marketing and regulatory materials for various Hearing Instrument Sonova brands, as well as training stakeholders and maintaining documentation of translation related topics, ensuring accurate and regulatory compliancy, quality and timely translations.

Your responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate quality and timely delivery of small to large translation projects with cross-functional teams, vendors and linguistic resources, while ensuring cost and time effective project execution
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather project requirements and provide updates
  • Oversee the localization process to guarantee high-quality deliverables and provide feedback to linguists and vendors to ensure translation quality
  • Review translation requests assigned and assess needs for additional information, e.g. glossaries, reference material, instructions, briefing
  • Ensure documents are regulatory compliant according to the relevant processes and current instructions
  • Responsible for leading specific localization projects or campaigns providing regular updates to the business
  • Support and maintain terminology & glossaries, Translation Memory management and corporate wording for foreign languages (non-English)
  • Manage upload of localized assets to global marketing database
  • Implement small layout and/or design changes of localized content
  • Participate in various projects which are meant to drive optimization into the ways of working of the localization services
  • Provide to stakeholders regular status updates on tickets and projects in charge

Your profile:

  • University degree in business, marketing, digital technologies, or similar relevant field
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing operations or services
  • 2+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on localization
  • Proficient in project management tools and software, and a solid understanding of localization tools and platforms
  • Basic working knowledge of Adobe CS InDesign
  • Consumer and customer-oriented personality with a distinctly ‘digital’ way of thinking
  • Possess confidence and good interpersonal skills to build lasting team and stakeholder relationships
  • Pronounced hands-on mentality gets involved, do what needs to be done, able to cope with pressure
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively even under pressure. Working remotely, reporting to HQ.
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills
