Localisation Project Manager

Mission Translate is continuously growing and we are looking to expand our team once again!  

We are a young and vibrant company who specialize in both Transcription, Translation and Market Research services and we’re looking for a new team member to join our Operations team. The position is remote and we’re happy to consider applicants from any location! 

 

Main Purpose of the Job 

Manage all assigned projects efficiently to ensure client retention, satisfaction, and repeat revenue growth by facilitating clear communication between project teams and clients, keeping clients informed of project progress and financial status, and effectively managing the project while promptly escalating resource or quality issues to departmental managers. 

 

Main Duties include but are not limited to: 

  • Managing key accounts with varied project types, having overall responsibility for the full project life cycle including revenue, profitability, schedule, methodology and deliverables.  
  • Ensuring client satisfaction while achieving an acceptable profit level. The main aim is to ensure repeat business from clients and to add real value. 
  • Working with account managers to develop business opportunities and account growth. 
  • Compiling estimates and proposals for approval. 
  • Project planning and implementing best methodology and process. 
  • Carrying out risk assessment and strategic planning of activities to minimize potential issues. 
  • Communicating effectively with clients, freelancers, and internal team members, keeping all stakeholders adequately informed and updated.  
  • Attending and on occasions hosting/leading conference calls with clients and team members 
  • Attending regular project meetings, documenting these and distributing minutes/actions to the team. 

Skills and Experience 

  • 1 or more years’ experience in project management in a fast-paced, global environment 
  • Client-centric approach in managing exacting accounts and client relationships with key customers 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English  
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 
  • Excellent time management and demonstrable skills in effectively prioritizing workload and able to multitask well. 
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. 
  • Consistent performer especially under pressure displaying a calm, can-do attitude at all times. 
  • Self-motivated, proactive team player, able to work on own initiative to achieve established outcomes 
  • Demonstrates ownership  and full accountability for every project managed. 
  • Desire to learn new things, open to challenges and thrive in a fast-paced, global environment 

 

Desirable 

  • Experience in the translation/localisation industry is preferred with good knowledge of all aspects including internationalization, development cycles, Engineering, DTP, graphics, translation, testing, multimedia, translation, transcription etc and workflow tools and process 
  •  Working knowledge of CAT tools, particularly Wordbee would be advantageous 
  • Customer service experience in any industry is preferred
