We are currently looking for a remote Localization QA Engineer with Chinese, 2+ years of QA experience and proficiency in localization testing to join our team.
The customer is an American video game and software developer and publisher, developing commercially available game engine which also powers their internally developed video games.
Responsibilities
- Perform localization testing
- Take part in functional and exploratory testing
- Prepare test results, define and report bugs
- Communicate with the customer
- Adjust and provide translations
- Test localized features, screens, the user interface, and content for accuracy, ensuring that these elements are appropriate in both cultural and technical contexts
- Follow the documented processes at all stages of the testing process
- Verify that bugs have been fixed and implemented correctly
Requirements
- 2+ years of QA experience
- Proficiency in localization testing
- Experience in functional and exploratory testing
- Fluency in Chinese (ZH-CN): C1 level
- English: B1+ level
- Considerable bug reporting skills
- TC creation skills
- Efficient communication with customer
- Gaming experience
